Adobe Lightroom Gets Even Better in Lightroom 3
Lightroom started out as a very good product and as it has matured and improved it has become more of a do it all tool for photographers. I still do collages and size and edit photos for webdesign or printing on greeting cards in Photoshop, but Lightroom is my daily workhorse for organizing, evaluating, and optimizing my photos. The recent Lightroom 3 release has many workflow improvements and has added some great added functionality to existing tools.
My Favorite Improvements

A new look for the import window which is more visual
A Quick Import window – this feature streamlines the import process for routine imports and people who are familiar with importing
Overall the import dialogue improvements make it a little more clear where images were going on your system.
An added panel shows drive and folder structures.
Watermarking has improved into a tool that gets the job done right most of the time. I can finally stop adding this in Photoshop.
